How To Listen

The 2017 Sussex Music Festival is taking place at the Copthorne Prep School on Saturday 29 July.

This event follows the success of the first Sussex Music Festival last summer.

Surrey Sound's Philip Grant spoke to one of the organisers, Sabrina and you can hear the interview here:

500 people are expected to attend to see 24 local bands play across 2 stages. In addition to a variety of local bands playing anything from Blues Rock and Indie music to pure rock and roll, this family friendly festival also features bouncy castles, childrenís entertainers, and face-painting for children (or Mumís and Dadís!).

AND for the first time this year a separate acoustic stage will feature local artists.

Surrey Sound will be covering the event with exclusive interviews and coverage.

Information about some of the bands appearing can be found here.

Tickets are still available. Adults £9 and under 18's are free.
